"SEEKING GOD IN THE FOREST"

 

 

RADIO BROADCAST

 

 

            The "seeking god in the forest" radio broadcast airs on WSKV, 104.9, each Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:00 pm.  WSKV is located in Stanton, Kentucky and covers a population of approx. 500,000.  WSKV is not a Christian broadcasting station.  However, a substantial part of their broadcast day does consist of Christian programming, with a tilt toward bluegrass music.

            The station is owned and operated by Andy and Mary Moore who are extremely hard working individuals and are a beautiful witness for our lord Jesus Christ.

 

            The radio broadcast is produced at the Forest Grove Christian Church by Dan Cordray whose excellent knowledge, expertise and work ethic, coupled with a love for god makes him a strong and valuable ally in this work. 

 

            Each week our goal is to be a help and blessing to anyone who would tune in to our broadcast.

 

            We begin each broadcast with music of the psalms or hymns or spiritual songs.  We then have a testimony from one of the folks that attend our church.  These testimonies are unrehearsed and lend themselves to an honesty and integrity that is very uplifting.

            Our pastor, Ben Rake, will present scriptural insight for the remainder of the time.

 

            We do not ask for donations or help in the financial aspects of this radio ministry but rather consider it a blessing and an honor to in some way further the cause of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.
