"What? You mean there is a 9:00 on Saturday mornings?” one of our youth was overheard saying. But when the appointed time came, she cheerfully wiped the sleep from her eyes and joined the 9 others who had awakened early for a Saturday morning service project.
Serving others, as opposed to “entertain me,” is the permeating philosophy here at Forest Grove. Sure, we have fun, too, but we try to make a concerted effort at least once a month to reach out and help others. Some of the service projects tackled thus far are planting and weeding flower beds, cutting and stacking downed limbs, distributing Angel Food, and helping out at a local community thrift store. If you have a need that we can possibly help with, please call Joe at 859-842-5408.
The teen years can be confusing. Lately the teens have been encouraged to be wise and seek God’s will for their lives. They are being encouraged to firmly grasp what they know is God’s will for their lives—loving God, serving others, and spreading God’s Word. .
VacationBibleSchool promises to be just as exciting for the teens as it will be for the children. They will be going through the “Demolishing Strongholds” study series for teens—“Turning teens from passive to passion!”

Empty. Have you ever felt that way? Like there is something missing in your life, but you just don't know what it is? It could be said that this video is aimed at the youth. But, I think that would be an opportunity lost on the rest of the world if only the youth saw the message. Please enjoy the video and if you have any comments, contact us at info@forestgrovechristian.com
